Every gem, fossil, and mineral is yours. Bags are provided to sort and store your finds.
Covered outdoor sluice
Prospector’s Creek is protected from the elements and remains open during rain. However, outdoor activities including gem panning are closed for thunderstorms.

No prior experience is needed to enjoy gem panning!

How It Works
Choose your mining rough
Select a bag of mining rough enriched with gems or fossils from around the world
Pan at Prospector’s Creek
At the Prospector’s Creek mining sluice, place some of the rough in a screen-bottomed box
Identify your finds
Dip the box in the sluice and watch the gems appear as the sand washes away!
